My first memory of my parents buying a car was a 1985 Riviera in about 1996. It was black with a red pin stripe and coachwork interior. He traded in his silver Olds Tornado, that looked almost the same. I really liked that Riv. We sold it when it failed to pull our boat up the launch. FWD V8 burnouts. A Ford Bronco replaced it shortly after.

I have driven one of those before. It had the digital dash and it was glorious.
